Description of the organization’s supply chain
We are an energy Group and our supply chain consists of thousands of suppliers of the products and services required for running our industrial and other facilities, and serving our customers in a variety of operational environments. We produce high quality petroleum products, petrochemicals & BOPP films and lubricants for various uses and we distribute them in and outside Greece to commercial and industrial customers and resellers. In addition, the Group produces and distributes electricity to enterprises and residential customers. Finally, through the new company ElpeFuture, the Group provides e-mobility services too.
Our usual partners are suppliers of raw materials (crude oil, chemicals, lubricants), electricity, natural gas, industrial equipment & materials, industrial services, land / water transportation, IT equipment & services, general goods and services, and packaging materials.
We strive to expand our supply chain of local suppliers wherever possible and always in accordance with the Group’s Procurement Regulation (please see 2022 Sustainability Report ‘Relations with Local Communities’).

Significant changes during the reporting period regarding the organization’s size, structure, ownership, or its supply chain
In the context of the corporate transformation of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group and following the decisions of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 10.12.2021, the split of HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A. was announced, with the spin-off of the refining, supply and sales of petroleum products and petrochemicals arm by establishing a new joint stock company. On January 3, 2022, the said spin-off was approved and a new joint stock company was established, under the name ‘HELLENIC PETROLEUM REFINING, SUPPLY AND SALES OF PETROLEUM AND PETROCHEMICAL PRODUCTS S.A.’ with the distinctive title ‘HELLENIC PETROLEUM D.E.P.P.P. S.A.’ and its Articles of Association were approved. The parent company was renamed from ‘HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A.’ to ‘HELLENIC PETROLEUM Holdings S.A.’ and became the sole shareholder of ‘HELLENIC PETROLEUM D.E.P.P.P. S.A.’ In 2022, HELLENIC PETROLEUM changed its name and renewed its corporate image. The new corporate name, “HELLENiQ ENERGY”, which marks the culmination of a long period of change for the company, refers directly to the Group’s significant legacy and its will to evolve into the future of “smart” energy, alternative resources and low-emission economy.
